Die Tour geht weiter

Nach einem wohlverdienten freien Tag gestern (1 Mai) ging es heute mit unserer Tour weiter. So verschlug es uns diesmal an die INS Menendez Palayo in Barcelona. Die Show begann zuerst und im Anschluss führten wir auch diesmal mit mehreren Gruppen der Schüler Tanz und Rap Workshops durch. Für den Abend war eigentlich der erste Video Dreh für den ersten von insg. 2 Musik Videos eingeplant doch dann sah die Gruppe ein Plakat auf dem da stand das Keny Arkana heute in Barcelona auftritt. Kurze Zeit danach wurde der Video Dreh aus Gründen die ich hier nicht weiter ausführen möchte auf Morgen verlegt.

Die in Barcelona fliegt. Morgen wird ein voller Tag. Morgen früh geht die Tour an der INS Joan Bosca weiter. Nachmittags geht´s weiter zum Vorbereitungstreffen mit den Jugendlichen von Projekt Joves Teb hier in Barcelona mit denen wir kommenden Samstag zusammen auftreten werden. Danach dann der Video Dreh für den ersten von insg. zwei official "Barca 2013" tracks....

After a well deserved day off yesterday (May 1) it was time to resume the tour today. This time we were headed to the INS Menendez Palayo in Barcelona. The show started first and afterwards we conducted workshops with several groups of students. Initially we were planing our first video shoot for one of two Musik Videos we'd like to shoot while in town but then the group found out that keny Arkana was in town and performing tonight. A short while later the video shoot was postponed untill tomorrow for reasons i`d rather not discuss in detail right now.

The time flies in Barcelona. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. Tomorrow morning we´ll resume the tour @ INS Joan Bosca. In the afternoon it´s on to the prepatory mtg. with local youths from the youth project Joves Teb here in Barcelona with whom we´ll be performing next Saturday night. After that finally the video shoot for one out of two official Barca tracks.........

Day off baby........

Ja, heute ist der 1 Mai. Wir haben frei. Dementsprechend und weil wir von den Anstrengungen der letzten Tage gestern Nacht doch alle erschöpft ins Bett gefallen sind haben wir die Möglichkeit genutzt um erstmal richtig auszuschlafen....Gegen Mittag sind dann alle losgezogen um, dass zu machen wozu sie Lust und Laune hatten. Einige sind nun am Strand, andere sind zur Ramblas gelaufen und haben sich Sights reingezogen. Heute Abend dann gemeinsam Essen und entweder ab nach Ravala zum ersten Video Dreh oder Bayern/Barcelona gucken, also das Gleiche machen was ca. 95 % der Bevölkerung dieser Stadt dann auch tun werden. Das nennen wir "erfolgreiche Integration" :)

Morgen geht´s mit der Tour weiter.11:45 Uhr startet die Show mit anschließendem Workshop an der INS Menendez Pelayo (Schule). Nachmittags dann Vorbereitungstreffen für die große Show @ Pl. Folch i Torres mit lokalen Jugendlichen der Jugendeinrichtung "Joves Teb"......

Yes, today is May 1. We have the day off. Thus and because of the extremely busy schedule of the last few days we took advantage of the opportunity and slept in accordingly........Around noon everyone hit the streets to do whatever they felt like doing. Some went to the beach, others took a walk to the Ramblas and took in sights...... Tonight we´ll eat and then, either shoot our first video or watch the Bayern/Barcelona game just like 95 percent of the rest of the population of this city which we´d call "successful integration" :)

Tomorrow we continue with the tour. @ 11:45 am our show with workshops in succession begins @ the INS Menendez Pelayo (School). In the afternoon we have a prepatory mtg for the big show @ Pl. Folch i Torres with local youths from the youth project "Joves Teb".....

Barca Tour day 3........

Am heutigen dritten Tag verschlug es uns mit unserem zweiten Konzert/Workshop an die"Deutsche Schule Barcelona". Durch einem späten Ausflug zur "What the Funk" Freestyle session am gestrigen Abend, von der wir einmal quer durch die Stadt zu fuß nachhause laufen mussten, waren wir alle  ursprünglich sehr müde. Jedoch ließ die Energie der Kinder uns schnell munter werden. Der Auftritt vor knapp 300 Schülern hat großen Spaß gemacht und nun laufen zwei Durchgänge von jeweils 3 Workshop Angeboten in denen Schüler basic Dance, Rap und Beat Bau Info lernen. 

Nach einem sehr geballten Auftakt (eine von uns liegt schon krank im Bett) haben wir nun 1.5 Tage frei da Morgen ein Feiertag ist. Mal sehen was der Tag heute noch bringt......

Today's day 3 brought us to the German School, Barcelona. A late outing to the awesome Freestyle "What the Funk" session initially left us all tired this morning. The incredibly high energy level of the students however woke us right back up. The performance in front of some 300 students was a lot of fun and as we speak three separate workshops in which young people can learn some quick basic Dance, Rap and Beat Making skills are being run.

After a really busy launch (one of us is laying in bed sick right now) we have the next 1.5 days off as tomorrow is a holiday. Let´s see just what the rest of the day might bring......
